Some players get injured and some do not get selected due to fitness reasons. Some players play well regularly while some do not continue their form and fitness.

As we all know that the year 2016 has come to its end.   Many new talent came and showed their talent as KL Rahul, Karun Nair from India, Azhar Ali from Pakistan, De Kock from South Africa.

Many senior players  showed his consistency as Hashim Amla, Ajinkya Rahane, AB De Villiers, Joe Root, Alastair Cook, Kane Williamson, David Warner. But for some of the players this year is very good.

This year is going wonderful for the Indian test skipper. He ended the year with the 4-0 test win against England. Although win is considered as a hard work of the whole team, but his performance in the series can’t be forgotten. This year Indian team does not lose any single match or series under his captaincy.

In all 12 test matches played this year Virat scored 1215 runs with an average of 75.93 and strike rate of 60.41 in 18 innings, which include 4 hundreds and 2 fifties. All the hundreds have more than 150 runs with 3 splendid double hundred. In these matches he has taken 14 catches also.

At the end of the year he is at career best  2nd position in the ICC Test batsman ranking.
