Some players get injured and some do not get selected due to fitness reasons. Some players play well regularly while some do not continue their form and fitness.

5. Kane Williamson (New Zealand)
The New Zealand’s captain Kane Williamson ended this year gratefully in all the formats of the game with steady and consistent performance. At the end of this year he is at the 4th position in Test ,5th position in ODI’s and at the 6th position in T20’s.
In 18 innings (10 matches) in Test he played this year he has made 753 runs with an average of 47.06 and strike rate of 53.40 with the help of just one century and 6 half centuries.
In 2016 ODI’s he made 540 runs in 16 innings with an average of 36.87 and strike rate of 83.80. In these 16 matches he made one century and 4 half centuries.
In T20’s this year he has made 383 runs with a strike rate of 118.94 in 10 innings having an average of 47.87 ,which is not bad in T20’s.
He didn’t score more runs this year, but due to his consistency in all the formats, we gave him the no. 5th position in the list.
